After five years on the market Mother’s Brewing Company decided it was time for a fresh look for it’s year-round and seasonal beers. The redesign was from label to packaging. We had three primary goals for this redesign: One, develop a cohesive look that could ran across all labels and carriers. Two, elevate the brewery’s name and brand. Three, standout at the point of sale. We were able to accomplish all three primary objectives all while staying true to the quirky fun loving nature that the Mother’s brand already embraces. Utilizing a grid structure and a fairly monochromatic color scheme we were able to raise the beers visibility at POS as well as provide a cohesive structure for future designs. Capping of the layout was the incorporation of story-style illustration all centered around a fictional “Mother’s” world.
