The identity for St. Francis Brewery, a small brewpub near Milwaukee, was designed to highlight the craft and passion the brewmaster puts into his process. The wordmark features a grain nestled within a drop of beer to represent the transformation from pure ingredients to quality final product. As a nod to classic beer characters like St. Pauli Girl and the Hamm’s bear, the monk icon graciously offers a glass of his finest ale, holding his robe together with a belt made of grain. This project was done in collaboration with Drew Garza.
