In the Summer of 2012, I was approached by the fine folks at Cahaba Brewing Company. They loved the work I did for the 2012 Magic City Brewfest and wanted to discuss the possibility of creating a label for their first release. I was elated. Ever since I was introduced to craft beer, I’ve been enamored with the rich visuals associated with it. The guys at Cahaba wanted to create a look for their public releases that was true to their love of the outdoors and commitment to creating solid, sessionable beers in lovely Birmingham, AL.
Their first release is an imperial version of their tasty Ryezome Stout. It hit the market on August 1st, 2012, the first day that larger bottles of beer called “bombers” were legal in Alabama.
