CCM Mexico’s Bohemia was an unsung hero: multi-award winning, with exceptional provenance but the branding was inconsistent across the range and it needed a premium brand identity to do justice to its quality and rich Czech-Aztec heritage; also to allow for range extensions.
Our analysis discovered that Bohemia is overwhelmingly about ‘substance over style’ and sparked our big brand idea: the art of leadership in brewing. Our fully sensorial branding gave CCM the tools to understand and use their most premium brand to its full potential and to launch Mexico’s first ever wheat beer. Our work encompasses everything on and off trade from packaging, glassware, bar fonts and environments to music, uniforms, sales literature and trade presentation kit. A successful sub-brand redesign has followed, as well as artist collaborations for limited editions and merchandising.
When CCM commissioned limited edition packaging to commemorate the bicentennial of Mexico’s independence, they asked us to use artist Frida Kahlo as our subject. Paper-cut celebration banners are an intrinsic part of Mexican culture and inspired our design, which depicts details of Kahlo’s life and work. Our carefully crafted execution is perfectly in-keeping with Bohemia’s premium and artisan brand image.

Sou apaixonado por cerveja até a alma. Essas aqui apresentadas são minhas preferidas. Pena é não encontrá-las em qualquer lugar, mas, vou levando comigo a emoção da última que bebi e farejando onde vou beber as próximas.

There’s a brand called Bohemia in Brazil too. And it is also good looking as this one. I’m just wondering about how it tastes.
