Moa Beer recently took over as the official beer of New Zealand’s 2012 Olympic teams, and its packaging has already won gold at this year’s Brew NZ Awards.
This is the first time a craft brewery has held this level of sponsorship in New Zealand and we believe it’s also a world-first. It’s exciting for the industry as it really puts New Zealand craft beer on the map, and it’s also a wake-up call to the big brewers. We’re playing in the big leagues now and we don’t have to sacrifice the quality of our beer to do so.

One Design makes inspiring use of bare-knuckle fighters from the Bridgeman Archive. And if I know you at all, you’re now going to spend half an hour scouring the internet for a place to buy these.
Fun Fact: Josh Scott, the founder and head brewer of Moa, is a cyclist competing for a position on the national team.
